gohome light press release
gohome is excited to announce that after two years of hard craft we are getting ready to not only create comfortable spaces through furniture but now to also illuminate them.
Our brand new innovative Australian designed lighting collections offer a unique point of difference in a crowded market, seamlessly integrating advanced technical engineering with sustainable design. Constructed exclusively with 100% post-consumer recycled aluminium our three new collections, Utility Strip, Grid, and Al-Pine designed by Ben McCarthy and Ryan McGoldrick are ready to transform your space, enhancing your work, play, and relaxation for both commercial and residential settings.
Our Utility Strip collection by Ben McCarthy has been inspired by the distinctive extrusion profile of our Utility seating collection. Designed upon the foundation of modularity, the slim suspended form allows you to flexibly modify the configuration, creating conjoined lighting strips, or square and rectangle configurations, providing unique and individual solutions for workplace, hospitality and residential environments. At gohome, we future proof all our designs through both style and technical aspects, this is no different for the Utility Strip. With an inbuilt light temperature adapter, users have the ability to select from three temperatures 2700K,3500K or 4000K to ensure it can adapt to ones everchanging environment. Designed in three finishes, polished aluminium, satin black and satin white powder coat, the Utility Strip is a confident product without ego or much unnecessary noise.
The Al-Pine collection of wall sconces and pendants, designed by Ryan McGoldrick, expresses the nuances in multidirectional lighting, capturing the fragile reflections and subtle warm glows through an iconic sculptural form. Named for its mountain like profiles, light projects from both the upper and lower base, providing direct and diffused lighting, while the mountain peak, capped with frosted glass, provides a soft uplighting, creating a sense of warmth and bespoke illumination to a space as it draws the eye upwards. This collection adapts to a space rather than asking a space to accommodate it, following the gohome ethos of sustainable multi-purpose design. Constructed in 100% post-consumer recycled aluminium and recycled glass, its polished finish can elevate any space, creating a paradoxical sense of both professionalism, comfort and warmth.
Grid collection by Ben McCarthy comes in both wall sconces, pendants and chandeliers, offering a contemporary and considered design language. This adaptability of configurations allows the Grid collection to transfer seamlessly from small intimate settings to large foyers or architectural environments. Produced in both polished aluminium and luxe gold, the Grid combines clear geometric structure with an organic rhythm creating a lighting range that redefines both luxury and sustainable manufacturing and packaging practice. We redefined what a chandelier could be for future generations.
